HMS Electra coming alongside

Here we see the E-class destroyer HMS Electra (H27) coming alongside an unknown ship at some point between the outbreak of the Second World War and her loss in the battle of the Java Sea early in 1942. Judging by the rather informal dress of the crew by the forward gun, this picture was taken somewhere hot!
